Sectional Overhead Doors
Our sectional overhead doors are made of 40-millimetre thick steel sandwich panels/sections (80mm are available). The male-female construction ensures that they fit together almost seamlessly. The front and back skins of the panels are made of extra thick steel. These skins are separated by Kingspan’s unique firesafe foam.
Our sectional overhead doors meet the most stringent British guidelines in the area of safety and durability. In a wide range of applications and in changing weather conditions (temperature, wind and water), the sectional overhead doors provide reliable access through the openings in which they are installed.
Electrically Operated
Our Sectional Doors are powered by 3 phase, 415 volt, GfA electric motor & TS Control Panels as standard (A single phase 240 volt industrial motor is available for site that do not have a 3-phase supply, but the motor has a more limited usage). There is a wide range of activation devices available.
A manual over-ride facility on a continuous haul chain is provided as standard to enable the door to be manually raised in the event of a power failure.
Hand Chain Operation
Ideally suited to industrial applications, the curtain of the door is manually raised via a continuous haul chain, on a hand chain wheel on the end of the door or via a series of reduction gears which drives the fully sprung counter balance roller barrel assembly.
All hand chain roller shutter doors are supplied with a chain keep that holds the hand chain in position ensuring that the door cannot open.
