How Do Roller Shutter Doors Work?

You can clean Roller Shutters as you would any other metal surface. If your roller shutter is powder coated then be careful and take a look at any cleaning products you use to make sure they don't react with Powder coatings. if you’re unsure, test on a hidden area first.

Classed as machines, Industrial Doors come under the Machinery Directive. Subject to the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER), under that Regulation, it is a requirement that Industrial Doors are kept properly maintained at least one per year. Maintaining a roller shutter should only be carried out by a certified Industrial Door Engineer.
